Celebrities are usually among the first to step up and help during a time of crisis. The devastation of Hurricane Harvey has touched us all. We are willing to go the distance and help those in need.   Kevin Hart was all in from the first.  He started an Internet Challenge to help Victims of Hurricane Harvey. He donated $25,000 of his own money to The Red Cross, and he’s challenged his friends to do the same. He’s called out Dave Chappelle, Beyoncé and Jay-Z, Dwayne Johnson, Justin Timberlake, Jerry Seinfeld and others to do the same. Houston Born, Beyoncé says she’s working closely with her pastor in Houston and her team at “BeyGOOD,” to help as many people as they can.  Even Kim Kardashian has also pledged $500,000 to The American Red Cross and Salvation Army. Sandra Bullock has done her part too with a $1 Million Dollar Donation.

J.J. Watt

J.J. Watt of the Houston Texans has struck a chord with fans around the country. He has started a crowdfunding page to aid victims of Hurricane Harvey.  He set a meager goal of $200,00 and has already surpassed that by leaps and bounds. As of right now, his total is closing in on $2 Million Dollars in donations.  Pledges continue to roll in from fans. If you’d like to donate through his page and keep an eye on its total you can follow it here.

Leslie Alexander

Houston Rockets owner Leslie Alexander has increased his original 4 Million Dollar donation to $10 Million Dollars!
