Have you ever wanted to visit a haunted house? What about live in one? What about a house with a story you’re not really sure about?
Zillow has posted a listing that has people confused. The house is located in Cayce, South Carolina. The asking price is $155,955. The house has 4 beds, 3 baths and a total of 2,656 sq. ft. Sounds like a good deal, right?
At first look, the house needs repairs. It was built in 1950. Time has taken its toll on the house. It needs some updating, some paint. But, those are the easy fixes. There’s something else going on at the house on Michaelmas Ave.
People are shaking their heads at the disclaimer in the listing.
“Upstairs apartment cannot be shown under any circumstances. Buyer assumes responsibility for the month-to-month tenancy in the upstairs apartment. Occupant has never paid, and no security deposit is being held, but there is a lease in place. (Yes, it does not make sense, please don’t bother asking.)”
The house immediately went viral, and now has people wondering what’s actually going on with the occupant? Is it a ghost? Did someone die there? Or is it just an eccentric artist? (Apparently, that’s the true story)
Either way, the house is stuck with the name “Nightmare House”.
Would you live in a house with that kind of stipulation? Or is the Creepy Factor too far off the charts?
After checking the listing again it appears the owners have taken the disclaimer off of their post.
