Astros Won’t Open At Full Capacity Like The Rangers
The Texas Rangers plan on opening the season with a full stadium – but the state’s other MLB team won’t be following their lead. The Houston Astros confirmed this week that they would open Minute Maid Park at 50 percent capacity for their home opener on April 8th. The team will re-evaluate the situation again in May. Texas Gov. Greg Abbott has lifted all restrictions in the state, allowing businesses to operate at 100 percent capacity. The Rangers announced their intentions for a full Globe Life Stadium earlier this month.
