Look back at your childhood. There are certain memories that will always spark a warm glow in your heart as you remember them fondly. The New York Post recently listed several Old School Activities that we enjoyed the most as kids. Right now with everyone social distancing, some of these are perfect to share with your kids.
Camping in the woods, and bonfires. If you can’t go camping, which is really a great social distancing activity, then camp in the backyard. If you have a fire pit, do Smores and Hot Dogs. Have a Fun Family Weekend! Go to the lake, a river or the ocean. If you have a boat, good for you. Spend a weekend having fun with the family. Just be sure to wear your life jackets! Swim in the pool. Oh my gosh yes! I know the popularity of pools has grown over the years here in the Panhandle. If you have one, good for you! Swim, Laugh and Love! And something simple and easy…Play outside all day. Maybe go fishing at Medi-Park. Go for a picnic. Play Ball. Skate or just enjoy the sun. Nothing beats family time.
