Dusty Hill’s Widow Thanks Fans For ‘Overwhelming Outpouring Of Love’

Dusty Hill’s wife, Charleen McCrory, has shared a heartfelt tribute to fans following his death last week. Hill was the long-time bassist for ZZ Top. On the band’s Facebook page, McCrory thanked everyone for their “overwhelming outpouring of love.” She added, “He was the kindest, most gentle, and caring man a woman could ever hope to find in a lifetime.” Hill had announced a temporary leave from ZZ Top’s 50th anniversary shows to get some treatment for a hip issue and was scheduled to return for the second leg of the tour in September.
