Elvis Presley’s Actual Blue Suede Shoes Sold At Auction!

Elvis Presley’s Actual Blue Suede Shoes Were Sold At An Auction!

Elvis Presley’s actual blue suede shoes were recently sold at an auction! The size 10 shoes were worn by Presley on and off stage during the 1950s, and were even worn by Presley on ‘The Steve Allen Show’ in 1956. The shoes are estimated to have been sold for around $152,000.

Just for the record, it was Carl Perkins who wrote and first recorded the song, “Blue Suede Shoes”. He was on his way to perform the song on The Perry Como show, when a car accident sidelined Perkins and allowed Elvis to (say it with me) step on Carl’s blue suede shoes.

If you had unlimited money, what piece of music memorabilia would you buy?
