Goodnight Killer Car Crash

One person died following an auto crash at 10:15 p.m., Wednesday night.
Troopers say that 77-year-old Samuel Kinley Shoels,, of Clarendon, was driving a 2007 Buick LeSabre north on 287 near mile marker 158.
They say his car went into a skid into a ditch before going into a side skid as it reached the pavement in the northbound rest area.
The car hit a tree before coming to rest in a ditch.
Shoels was pronounced dead at the scene, while a passenger 61-year-old, Ella Bryley was taken to the hospital for treatment
