It’s time to refresh your browser and come with me as we re-visit the inaugural season of Stacks of Wax, one episode at a time.  This week, let’s bounce back to the green grassy hills of Laurel Canyon! Those way-up-highs and oh-so-lows!  An era that gave us music from Byrds, Doors, Buffalo Springfield – from those thread-bare homes on Lookout Mountain to the organic free-range pencils at the Country Store.  You can almost smell the patchouli from here.

Episode 3 of Stacks of Wax was all about that way-too-cool era of Laurel Canyon artists!  Folks like Joni Mitchell, The Byrds, Mamas & Papas, Lovin’ Spoonful, Crosby, Stills. Nash & Young, and the unforgettably groovy music that they gave us!  This time, I’m talking with Amy Hart, a name many of of you remember from her years as our midday goddess on 100.9 The Eagle (and now teaching your kiddos over at Amarillo College!)  Join us as we share some thoughts and opinions about Laurel Canyon.  And get ready for “Laurel Canyon II” during the new season of this podcast!  Coming in Fall 2023.
