Mark Wahlberg makes HUGE Donation To Time’s Up Legal Defense

Ridley Scott Meets Deadlines For All The Money In The World
This combination photo shows Kevin Spacey at the Tony Awards in New York on June 11, 2017, left, and Christopher Plummer during a portrait session in Beverly Hills, Calif. on July 25, 2013. Spacey is getting cut out of Ridley Scott’s finished film “All the Money in the World” and replaced by Christopher Plummer just over one month before it’s supposed to hit theaters. People close to the production who were not authorized to speak publicly say Plummer is commencing reshoots immediately in the role of J. Paul Getty. (AP Photo)

When All The Money In The World did their reshoot to eliminate Kevin Spacey from the script, the actors were paid.   Ridley Scott had denied this at the time.  As it turns out Mark Wahlberg earned a whopping 1.5 Million Dollars for The reshoot.   Michelle Williams got only $1,000.  Because of this, Mark Wahlberg hasn’t received the best PR.  As you can imagine. So, he decided to Donate the entire 1.5 Million to The “Times’s Up Legal Defense Fund.”  And, he did so in Williams name.  Wahlberg’s agency, The William Morris Agency also made a 500K Donation, bringing the total to 2 Million.

Williams issued a Statement on Saturday, “If we truly envision an equal world, it takes equal effort and sacrifice.” She went on to praise Wahlberg and WME for their generous donations. She also included Anthony Rapp in her statement saying,  “Anthony Rapp, for all the shoulders you stood on, now we stand on yours.”  Anthony Rapp is the star of “Star Trek: Discover,” who has accused Kevin Spacey of sexual advances towards him when he was 14 years old.

Thumbs up to Mark Wahlberg for doing the right thing!
