Pink Floyd Offers Rarity Every Friday On New Spotify Playlist!

There’s a new Spotify playlist dedicated to the music of Pink Floyd.  It’s called “Syd, Roger, Richard, Nick and David – An Evolving Pink Floyd Playlist“.  It promises to stream classic Pink Floyd tracks, deep cuts and currently unavailable rarities, mostly taken from the band’s ‘Immersion‘ box set series.

So far, the idea is that Pink Floyd will add a new track every Friday.  As I write this, there are 3 songs on the playlist. Only 3 songs!  But the live version of ‘Us And Them‘ taken from the Live At Empire Pool, Wembley, London 1974 is worth a visit to the playlist. It’ll take your breath away and put goose bumps on your goose bumps.

The Pink Floyd folks posted on their official Facebook page that the band is building the playlist as a way for fans to reconnect with their music.  In addition to Spotify, all the tracks will be available on their YouTube channel.  In coming weeks, fans can look forward to hearing ‘Have A Cigar‘, ‘Money‘, ‘Run Like Hell’, and a live version of ‘Any Colour You Like‘.

It’s gonna be a GREAT summer, friends!  Happy listening…and stay healthy!
