Sammy Hagar Apologizes for Exposing Eddie Van Halen’s ‘Dark Side’!

Sammy Hagar is apologizing for how he depicted Eddie Van Halen in his 2011 memoir. Hagar said that he regrets for exposing Van Halen’s “dark side” in his memoir, titled “Red: My Uncensored Life in Rock”.

“More than anything, because of the untimely and tragic death of Eddie Van Halen, I apologize from the bottom of my heart for exposing his dark side to where I don’t think anyone wants to hear that now,” Hagar revealed in a recent interview. In his memoir, Hagar wrote of Van Halen’s struggles with alcohol and poor living conditions.

We have the great Van Halen Tribute coming up on July 9th at Starlight Ranch!  Keep listening for more details as FoodStock 2021 continues!
