Someone Hacked The Beatles into ‘Super Mario Bros. 2’!

World famous Abbey Road Studios are decorated with Beatles stickers on the walls, to remember the 50th anniversary of the release of Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, London on June 1, 2017. Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band is the eighth studio album by English rock band the Beatles. Released on 26 May 1967 in the United Kingdom and 2 June 1967 in the United States. It spent 27 weeks at the top of the UK albums chart and 15 weeks at number one in the US. It won four Grammy Awards in 1968, including Album of the Year, the first rock LP to receive this honour. Someone Hacked The Beatles into ‘Super Mario Bros. 2’!

Both The Beatles’ ‘Yellow Submarine’ and Nintendo’s ‘Super Mario Bros. 2’ are pretty out there, so having them “Come Together” for a video game feels perfect! The developers took the ‘Yellow Submarine’ versions of John, Paul, George, and Ringo and made them playable in an altered version of the Nintendo classic. The game features familiar music and characters from the Beatles film as well as the trippy game elements of ‘Super Mario Bros. 2.’ You can check out the play-through of ‘The Beatles Adventures in Pepperland’ over on YouTube.

Have you ever beaten ‘Super Mario Bros. 2?’

Would you play this version of the game?
