Amarillo Leaders Visit Washington For D.C. Days

A delegation of Amarillo Business leaders descended on Washington, D.C. for D.C Days last week to visit legislators and lobby for certain important local issues.

Legislators in attendance include Senators John Cornyn and Ted Cruz, along with Representative Ronnie Jackson. 

Jason Harrison, president and CEO of Amarillo Chamber of Commerce.says some of the businesses and institutions include the  Amarillo Economic Development Corporation, Education Credit Union, and Xcel Energy.

The main thrust of DC Days was to bring attention to the needs and priorities of the Panhandle.
