American Airlines Confirms UFO Sighting

American Airlines officials have confirmed that a transmission in which a pilot reports seeing a UFO over New Mexico is authentic. Steven Douglass, a UFO buff who intercepted the transmission, says the incident occurred Sunday on a flight from Cincinnati to Phoenix.   “Do you have any targets up here?” the pilot can be heard saying. “We just had something go right over the top of us. I hate to say this but it looked like a long cylindrical object that almost looked like a cruise missile type of thing moving really fast.”   While airlines officials have confirmed the recording’s authenticity, they’re refusing to answer questions about the sighting.   “Following a debrief with our flight crew and additional information received, we can confirm this radio transmission was from American Airlines Flight 2292 on February 21st,” reads a statement released Wednesday. “For any additional questions on this, we encourage you to reach out to the FBI.” The FBI, in turn, has also refused to comment.
