City Plan-Vision 2045

 The draft of City Plan – Vision 2045, will be the topic of discussion at City of Amarillo’s five Open Houses, starting March 13th.

The plan, City Plan – Vision 2045, is a template for the future of Amarillo spanning multiple community priorities from transportation to housing to economic development.

The open houses will allow residents to give ideas and feedback for the goals and objectives from the City’s diverse community.

The plan was introduced in November of 2022. It includes a digital surveys, community workshops and social media interaction.

Open Houses will be held at Wednesday, March 13 – Amarillo Downtown Library – 10:00 a.m. – Noon, Thursday, March 14 – Amarillo North Branch Library – 1:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 19 – Amarillo Northwest Branch Library – 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.

Wednesday, March 20 – Amarillo Southwest Branch Library – 3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. and on Thursday, March 21 – at the Amarillo East Branch Library – 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.
