Forest Service Awards Grant Money To Panhandle Fire Departments

Six Panhandle Fire companies are getting some money from the Texas A&M Forest Service.

The money will go towards equipment and training aids for each department.

Booker, Boys Ranch, Dawn, Kress, Lake Tanglewood, and Perryton will all get a piece of the 100-thousand-dollar fire department grants.

Each department will get a 20-thousand dollar piece of the pie, except Perryton.

Perryton Fire will get 10-thousand dollars
