Half of Planets In Solar System Set To Align In ‘Planetary Parade’

In what astronomers are calling a “planetary parade,” more than half of the planets in our solar system are set to line up in a row. The rare event is set to occur next week.   Jupiter, Mercury, Uranus, Mars and Venus will form an arc that appears to be alongside the moon, according to Star Walk. The phenomenon will be most visible just after sunset on Tuesday, March 28th.  per the astronomy site.

Although there’s been a long-standing theory that the alignment of planets causes tsunamis, earthquakes and other disasters, experts say it simply isn’t true. “This nonsense has been repeatedly debunked,” reads a statement from Star Walk. “In reality, alignments do not affect gravity or human life, but they are cool stargazing events.”
