Paul McCartney’s concerts have been featuring video duets with John Lennon, and he’s feeling pretty good about it. He has been using a video of Lennon singing while performing “I’ve Got a Feeling” in concert. McCartney, who first debuted the duet at last year’s Glastonbury Festival, says that it feels like he and Lennon are reunited. “It’s one of my favourite bits in the show now,” McCartney recently said to The Australian Daily Telegraph. “It was hard to hold your emotions back actually. You could just get overcome.” “Because it was the magic – it was my buddy, who’s been dead a long time, and here he was, back, and I’m working with him again,” Sir Paul added. “And even though it’s sort of mechanical trickery, it feels very real.”
What are your thoughts on this type of performance using video?
