Telluride Fights COVID With NEW Dining Experience

As restaurants brainstorm creative ways to drum up  business during the pandemic, the Town of Mountain Village at Telluride has come up with a new plan.  The City of Telluride has converted  gondola cars into dining cabins for the winter. The “cabins” will be scattered around in a plaza area. They will be complete with lights in the ceiling,  heating and ventilation systems, cushioned seats, and easy sliding-glass doors. Each can hold 6 people. Diners can then order from 12 nearby restaurants in the village center.
